In short (English)When the old planes along the avenue were cut down, a neighbourhood organised to plant trees that could survive the new summers.
For as long as anyone remembered, the avenue had shade. The summer it did not, we understood what we had lost — and a group of us decided the next generation of trees would be chosen for the climate we actually have now.
